• What is Transdisciplinary Research (TDR)?
  • 20 Years of RISTEX / S&T for Society
  • R&D aimed at solving specific social issues

RISTEX conducts R&D by setting a “Focus Area” or a “Program” for each research field or theme to be targeted. It solicits R&D proposals in each Focus Area/Program, and promotes R&D by commissioning (funding) the research to the projects selected.
