RISTEX, based on the philosophy of "science with and for society," has been conducting R&D to solve various social issues such as aging society, global warming, and safety and security.
Following the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011 and the Kumamoto Earthquakes of 2016, several projects by RISTEX provided supports and engaged in activities to resolve problems faced by the disaster's victims and affected areas, thereby contributing back the results of R&D to society.
