1-1) Field of Cooperation - BBSRC
JST and Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) has been supporting bilateral research projects in the area of "Bionanotechnology" from FY2004, and in the area of "Bionanotechnology, Structural Genomics and Proteomics" from FY2005. The calls for proposals in the above areas have been completed in FY2006. From FY 2008, JST and BBSRC have started to cooperate in the new area of "Systems Biology".
