1) Field of Cooperation -"Life Science"

In February 2010, JST and CONACYT signed an MOU to implement the "Strategic International Research Cooperative Program" (SICP). Under this MOU, JST and CONACYT have mutually agreed to support research within the field of "Life Sciences."

2) Funding Agency on Mexico Side

The National Council on Science and Technology (CONACYT)
The National Council on Science and Technology (CONACYT) was created by the willingness of the Congress in 1970 with legal personality and with its own endowment. It is also responsible for the elaboration of science and technology policies in Mexico.
