JST Supports Exhibition at COP16 (Cancun, Mexico, November 29 - December 10, 2010)
The Washington Office dispatched a staff member to support an exhibition at the 16th edition of Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on the Climate Change (COP16) held in Cancun, Mexico from November 29 to December 10, 2010.
A booth was set up by various Ministries and agencies of Japan involved in environment and climate change issues. JST provided information about its effort on these issues, such as its Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) program and its Center for Low Carbon Society Strategy. The exhibit attracted government officials, practitioners from private sectors, NGOs, and students from all over the world.

AUTM Annual Meeting (New Orleans, March 18-20, 2010)
JST was an exhibitor at the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) 2010 Annual Meeting in New Orleans, March 18-20, 2010. JST's activities and licensable patents from Japanese universities were exhibited at our booth where we welcomed approx. 200 visitors.
