“Social isolation” is a fundamental theme in sociology. While it is essential for intermediate groups such as families, workplaces, local communities, and schools to protect isolated individuals or foster a sense of community to prevent isolation, contemporary society is witnessing a decline in the functionality of these intermediate groups. Some intermediate groups, including companies with toxic work environments, even contribute to isolation in the form of abusive families or bullying.
I hope that this program will serve to prevent social isolation and reveal a new social image that is different from the one in which the individual and the state directly conflict with each other.
