ABOUT PROGRAM

This program was launched in FY2021 as the “Social Isolation Framework” under the “Solution-Driven Co-creative R&D Program for SDGs” to build a society that prevents social isolation and loneliness by creating diversified social connections and networks among people, organizations, and communities. Taking into consideration the various changes in the social structure, the program promotes all processes in an integrated manner, from the elucidation of the mechanism of social isolation and loneliness, to the method of assessing the risk of isolation/loneliness (such as indicators), to the development of measures to prevent social isolation and loneliness and their Proof of Concept (PoC).
