Research Theme

In this project, I will develop a technique to manipulate and retrieve the amplitudes and phases of the condensed-phase wavefunctions utilizing the 2D optical phase modulation and wave packet interferometry. Based on this technique, quantum information processing and visualization of the spatio-temporal evolution of the excitons will be pursued. By studying the structure of the excitons and their decoherence mechanism, it might be possible to directly access how the quantum states lose their quantum nature.
