Outline of Research Theme
To date, research to develop non-volatile memories has focused on ferromagnetic materials partly composed of rare-earth and precious metals. Here, we study novel Hall effects that arise owing to a complex nano-spin-structure, which allows antiferromagnets to function as a non-volatile memory without using rare-earth or precious metals. The aim of this research is to develop such functional materials and clarify the mechanism of the novel Hall effects.
