Outline of Research Theme
This project aims for the development of functional materials based on the modulation of electronic polarization in thin films. The polarization can be tuned by gradient composition in films grown by molecular beam epitaxy. By applying well-regulated this technique to various materials and elements, innovative material science will be studied for development of optical and electrical functionalities.
