Outline of Research Theme
Oxyhydrides have recently received much attention as new functional materials because of their specific properties. However, only a few oxyhydrides were reported due to the absence of effective synthesis methods. The exploration of new materials was difficult, therefore the relationship between the hydride contents and physical properties is still unclear in such materials. In this study, a direct-synthesis method is successfully established to find new oxyhydrides providing hydride ionic conductivity and/or novel electronic property.
