Outline of Research Theme
The aim of this research is development of novel candidate compound for an innovative permanent magnet. The strategy of the material design is exploring Fe-based compound having a high saturation magnetization combined with a small amount of rare earth and/or interstitial elements, such as nitrogen, to enhance magneto crystalline anisotropy, which is origin of intrinsic coercively.
