Outline of Research Theme
High-pressure and high-temperature conditions (above 10 GPa and 1000 oC) enable us to synthesize novel materials. The prime targets of this research are ubiquitous materials containing unusual high-valence state metals in the ordered structure. The goal of this research is to obtain innovative functions and to maximize the potentials of materials research and development.
