Outline of Research Theme
Development of solid electrolyte to achieve all-solid battery is one of the most important issues for innovation in energy storage. This project aims to develop the unconventional strategy for material design of solid electrolyte. It is the use of molecular crystals with self-assembled structure to combine mechanical flexibility and ionic conduction paths in solid electrolyte. Molecular crystal enables the construction of novel solid electrolytes based on zero-dimensional molecular architecture and three-dimensional crystal engineering.
