I try to create organic crystal devices as electronics and photonics materials that can photoreversibly change crystal shape, electric conductivity, fluorescence property, and refractive index, etc. I control crystal structures and the size of the crystals of photochromic crystals that cause photoreversible molecular structure changes, and also control solid state properties of their organic photochromic crystals by photoirradiation. These materials can be potentially applied for novel organic devices, and it is possible not only to become a new organic device but also to open a new possibility as the crystal materials.
