Outline

Ammonia is one of the mass-producing basic chemicals in the world. Recently, ammonia is receiving a lot of attention as an energy carrier material for hydrogen storage and transportation because of its high hydrogen content and its moderate liquefaction condition. Objective of this study is the development of one-pot ammonia synthesis system from renewable electric power, steam, and nitrogen using solid electrolyte electrolysis cells with highly active electrode catalysts.
