Talent Development Programs
The "selection specialists" development program has been running since 2002, to develop and secure human resources, who will promote a practical application of the research findings obtained by universities and other institutions. The purpose of this program is to enhance the professional skills of personnel working for universities, TLO, public research institutions, and regional governments, who are involved in operations related to technology transfer, and also to build a network among these talents.
The Talents the Program Aims to Nurture:
In addition to connecting research findings (the ”seeds” of technology) and social needs, the talents are also expected to enhance the value of technological “seeds” and involve researchers to create “new value” in industry–academia collaboration activities. This program aims to employ institutions’ research findings to solve various issues arising in the course of commercialization, and develop human resources capable of supervising and creating business start-ups.
