Improvement of Entrepreneurial Environment
For acquiring abilities to generate and supervise technology transfers:
This course aims to share current topics related to university start-ups and explore the issues and solutions surrounding start-up incubation.
Curriculum
Participants will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to organize an entrepreneurial environment.
The curriculum focuses on group work and discussions.

- Basic Entrepreneurship
- Participants will understand the entire picture of launching a university start-up and learn about where and how they can assist in the process.

- Business strategies
- Participants will study business strategies for university start-ups.

- R&D strategies
- Participants will learn about R&D strategies that aim for commercialization, such as the selection and concentration of R&D projects, and their consistency with business plans.

- IP strategies
- Participants will learn about the strategy and handling of IP, which is potentially powerful leverage for university start-ups.

- Building business models
- Participants will obtain the necessary knowledge to build business models, such as how to understand industry trends in a given business field and how to compare one’s model with competitors’ models.

- Capital policy
- Participants will learn some key concepts concerning capital policy, namely, the knowledge necessary for a successful business.
