Research Outline
The main subject of R&D is to develop data management systems fully utilizing information and communication technologies (ICT) to take advantage of the enormous amount of information on maintenance, repair and renewal of civil infrastructures for contributing to the real application of advanced ICT for society. Specific R&D fields are data screening based on integrated large-scale sensor information for pavements and bridges and so on, data management enabling comprehensive control of a variety of information and data analysis and visualization technologies for making the stored data effectively applicable for real operation on-site
