Development of Cooperative Self-Assembling Method using Allosteric Regulator Molecules for Construction of the Desired Structure in the Desired Place
(Assistant Professor, Hokkaido University, Faculty of Science)

Formation of biological supramolecular polymers based on a cooperative nucleation-growth process is attractive mechanism for construction of a desired structure at a desired place. In this study, I aim to construct the allosteric regulator molecules, whose initial binding of a guest molecule promotes a subsequent guest binding, and the cooperative supramolecular polymers, showing the nucleation-growth process, whose initial dimerization promotes chain-propagation into a long filament. Furthermore, I develop to the controls of the mobility/stability of the supramolecular polymer by incorporating the dynamic covalent bonds into the supramolecular system.
