Combining DNA recognition ability and self-assembly of small molecules is an excellent technique to produce nanostructures also in vitro. This project aims construction of helical nanofiber structures by the self-assembly of synthetic small molecules with DNA as templates, control, and finding functions of the helical nanofibers. We challenge to develop new strategies to fabricate nanostructures by the fusion of DNA science and molecular self-assembly. image
