Epigenetics, mechanisms of regulation of gene expression that do not involve changes in the underlying DNA sequences, play key roles in the pathogenesis of various diseases including cancer and neurodegenerative disorder. In this project, we aim to establish molecular technology for chemical control of epigenetics towards drug discovery by transdisciplinary research between physics, biology and chemistry in which unique researches will be performed based on organic chemistry ideas including target-guided synthesis. This molecular technology will lead to presenting guideline for therapy.
