Probabilistic Modeling of Genome Evolution via Random Graphs |
In studies of genome evolution we have to infer past evolutionary events by analyzing present genomes. Models by stochastic processes are useful for the inferences, however, existing models are focusing on evolution of each gene and the models are not suitable for inferences on genome evolution. By this research project genealogical relationship among sample genomes is modeled by random graphs. These models could be foundation of statistical inferences on genome evolution.
