Induction of iPS cells with the 4 Yamanaka factors appears to be inefficient and heterogeneous, therefore, it is desirable to establish a method to reproducibly generate high-quality iPS cells for future applications. Here, I focused on the conversion process of the partially-reprogrammed iPS cells to the fully-reprogrammed state. By using several candidate epigenetic factors, I will try to control nuclear organization, to bring the chromatin environment towards the ESC-like state.
