Tokyo Medical and Dental University

The purpose of this research is establishing new oogonial stem cell line from female embryonic gonads, ovaries, and iPS cells by manipulating cell cycle, inducing differentiation of oocyte-like cells from the established oogonial stem cells in vitro, and finally producing offspring through in vitro fertilization. Successful establishing new oogonial stem cell line will provide new knowledge and technology applicable for infertility treatment and regenerative medicine.
