One of the major challenges in nanotechnology is to develop a method of programmable assembly of nanocomponents such as various molecules and nanoparticles. The aim of this research is programmable assembly of nanocomponents using self-assembled DNA scaffolds composed of DNA tiles (nanoscale DNA single-strand complexes) and to develop the novel nanofabrication method that push past the limits of the current technology.
