It has been reported that metal/insulater hybrid structures smaller than the light wavelength can be used to metamaterials, which show negative refractive indices. In this study, block-copolymer nanoparticles with phase-separation structures are metallized by nano-plating technique, and the metallized and phase-separated particles are applied to the lenses for nanolithography as metamaterials.
