Multiscale phenomena are ubiquitous in energy systems, which emerge the complex interaction in various physical domains and among various scales. Understanding the multiscale phenomena is the key enabler to accomplishing energy management in an efficient, stable, and safe manner. The purpose of this study is to develop methodology and tools for analyzing the phenomena in multi-energy systems by an integration of ideas from dynamical systems, power and energy, systems and control, and information processing.
