Research integrity activities by JST
Since FY2015, researchers who apply for new JST calls for proposals are required to complete a research ethics training program at their affiliated organization prior to application. Details are to be provided in the application guidelines for each project.
JST provides an opportunity to directly explain research ethics to the research representatives whose reseach has been adopted as a JST project, their co-researchers, and the administrative staff of the relevant research institutes at seminars, workshop and the like. In addition, researchers participating in JST projects are required to learn research ethics through e-learning. Booklets and educational materials used in the seminars are available on the "Dissemination and enlightenment" page.
