9th World Conference on Research Integrity, WCRI

The venue of the 9th WCRI
The 9th World Conference on Research Integrity (9th WCRI) was held in Vancouver, Canada, from May 3 to 6, 2026, drawing approximately 700 pre-registered participants from 57 countries and regions.
WCRI is the world's largest conference dedicated to advancing research integrity and responsible conduct of research. Researchers, educators, staff from research funding agencies, academic publishers, research integrity offices, and others from around the world gathered to present and exchange views on a wide range of research integrity topics.
This report provides an overview of the conference and the discussions held under its three principal themes: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Research Security, and Indigenous Knowledge Systems, as well as other topics covered at the meeting.
