Optimization Group

Research Aims

The goal of our group is to generate the AICReDD based on combinatorial optimization techniques and the AFIR method. We will also formulate discrete optimization problems related to database creation for chemical reaction networks and develop approximation algorithms. In addition, exploiting our computer environment in which AFIR is executable, we will study the convergence and global behavior of the AFIR method in order to speed up the AFIR method and to extend it to solve general non-convex optimization problems.
