Our group will develop machine learning algorithms and methods that can be used in conjunction with the AFIR method to search for intermediate state paths in the chemical reaction space among many possibilities. We aim to make AFIR more efficient by introducing new search algorithms. In addition, machine learning from a reaction path database will enable suggestion of new reactions.
