Accelerator-based research is a "challenge to the limits of knowledge" by humans to solve the mysteries of the universe. This challenge requires breakthroughs in many fields, including knowledge, ideas, and technological development, and cooperation across borders and disciplines. Many new knowledge, values, technologies and systems have been created across disciplines in the past, and being discussed and developed now.

This exhibit introduces some of the surprisingly familiar technologies and systems that have been created through research using accelerators, as well as technologies that are expected to accompany the development of the next generation of accelerators.
