Outline

Lithium ion conductors are the key material for the realization of all-solid-state lithium batteries; however, new material development is not proceeding as expected. In this study, methods and concept of conventional synthetic science are combined with informatics science, and research areas with a high expected value of new material discovery will be examined to obtain novel lithium conducting oxides. Finally, I will propose a new ion conductor discovery method that combines the ionic conduction properties predicted from synthetic science and the possibility of new substance formation suggested by informatics science and dramatically shortens the material search time.
