Outline

My goal is to create metal hydrides with novel functionalities such as high-transition-temperature superconductivity via thin films and interfaces. To speed up the discovery of such exotic properties, I will combine a robot system using Bayesian optimization and thin film deposition to develop a fully-automatic and autonomous thin film growth system. Through the superfast optimization of chemical composition, substitution, and growth processes, I aim to establish a guiding principle for the emergence of novel physical properties in metal hydrides.
