Outline

Fluorescence imaging has made it possible to observe the activities of living cells and has contributed to elucidating many physiological phenomena. However, there is a severe restriction on the current observation due to photobleaching that fluorescent molecules break by the excitation light. In this research, I will develop an innovative molecular technology that solves the problem of photobleaching and, therefore, realizes fluorescence imaging with enhanced performance including super-resolution observation.
