[RESEARCH THEME]
Studies of mixed-valence coordination polymers allow to design new functional materials based on the characteristic flexible structures constructed by self-assembly of metal ions and organic ligands, and the versatile electronic states caused by the coexistence of the metal ions with the different oxidation states.
The aim of my project is to develop a new nonlinear opto-electrical materials based on the mixed-valence metal assembled complexes with dithiocarbamate ligands, in which the dielectric properties and non-linear optical properties would be investigated to develop new multifunctional materials.
