[RESEARCH THEME]
In this project, I will bring out the quantum nature of localized states due to dilute impurities in high quality semiconductor crystals by single center spectroscopy and apply them to quantum optical devices such as single photon sources or single spin memories.
I concentrate mainly on the nitrogen isoelectronic impurities in III-V semiconductors and reveal the behavior of the localized carriers and their spins.
