I try to create novel photoactive ferroelectric crystals that can reversibly change the properties stimulated by photochromic reactions of organic molecules.
This research will elucidate the correlation between photochemical reactions and physical properties in solid-state physics and open the new frontier of "photochromic ferroic materials" that have the potential to be applied to innovative electronic and photonic devices in the future.
