Outline

The outcome of this project will be large-scale energy saving in separation processes of chemical industry. One of the two targets of this project is to develop advanced molecular-selective membrane separation technologies using inorganic microporous crystals. As the other, utilizing the quantum molecular sieving effect, sophisticated and highly efficient separation systems for light-element isotopes, which are key substances for advanced medical treatment, are to be developed with precisely-controlled ultra-microporous materials.
