Outline

Some metabolites showing dramatic changes under disease conditions do not only serve as disease markers but exert their potent biological actions to regulate metabolic systems as a whole. However, the relationship betweem such metabolites and their target macromolecules remain unknown largely. This project aims to reveal unravelled actions of metabolites and their receptors using multidisciplinary approaches and advanced technology, thereby developing medicines to treat diseases with unmet needs.
