Strategic International Collaborative Research Program (SICORP) Information on Japanese-Russian Joint Call

The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (MON), in order to promote international research interaction and exchange among researchers in Japan, are jointly accepting proposals for Japanese-Russian collaborative research projects in the field of "Rational nature management including Arctic Research" and "Energy efficiency".

Details of Support

Research networking and exchange projects selected for funding in this call will receive support for a period of 2 years totaling no more than approximately 12,000,000 JPY including direct and indirect costs. Examples of direct costs can include research materials, personnel costs, travel costs and events.

Period of the Call for Proposals

Monday 21st January 2019 until Monday 18th March 2019, 16:00 (Japan time)

Application Procedure

Proposals (Russian version and Japanese version) and English abstracts should be jointly drafted by your team.
The Project Leader from the Russian team will have to submit the proposal of Russian version, English abstract and other necessary documents to MON via designated URL and mailing address.
The Project Leader from the Japanese team will have to submit the proposal of Japanese version, English abstract, legal compliance checklist and compliance agreement（日本側応募様式）to JST via e-Rad (the Cross Ministerial R&D Management System).
