Call for Research Applications for FY 2022
FOREST program invites applications for challenging and original research that requires long term endeavor without fear of failures, targeting research fields related to science and technology (excluding those related to the humanities alone) with the potential to create seeds that will lead to disruptive innovation.
The call for research applications will be conducted via the Cross-ministerial R&D Management System (e-Rad). Those applications which have not completed the application process by the specified deadline will not be accepted for any reason.
Please note that, for the FY 2022 call, only one application will be accepted per applicant regardless of the affiliated institution at the time of the application. In addition, the program plans to hold three calls for research applications every year from FY2020 to FY 2022 and this is the third call, and up to two applications can be made per applicant regardless of the affiliated institution at the time of the application.

Interview schedule
Interviews for this fiscal year will be conducted online. The interview schedule for each panel is scheduled as follows (The dates of PANEL headed by Professor AMAGAI have not fixed yet). Eligible applicants will be contacted by JST via e-mail at least 10 days prior to the interview date. Please note that JST will appoint the specific date and time within the scheduled period.
