Overview
This research area is aimed at the the resolution of various problems in the interdisciplinary field of quantum mechanics and information science to realize information processing using quantum phenomena.
Specifically, it targets fundamental and innovative researches that develop infrastructure for high-speed and secure information processing. They can be theoretical or empirical researches, which include the creation of new algorithms regarding the relationship between the strength of the quantum entanglement effects and information processing capabilities, evaluation technology and memory storage methods on quantum state, transmission methods for high-density quantum information, encryption, error-correction, security, etc., in communications.
