Research Outline

Aiming for an innovation in high-density and low-power consumption magnetic data-storage devices, we will theoretically design the way to realize nano-scale topological spin textures with high device functions characterized by 1. nanometric small size, 2. ultralow threshold field, 3. stability against perturbations and disturbances, and 4. high operational temperature. We will also explore efficient ways to generate, erase, and drive them by means of external parameters such as light, heat, electric field, and electric current.
