Research Outline

The aim of this research project is to use one-dimensional interfaces in atomic layer heterostructures for nano-electronics. In particular, we develop novel methods to control the structure and electronic properties of heterojunction interfaces of atomic layers such as graphene and boron nitride, and to utilize these interfaces as conducting channels in ultrasmall electronic devices.
