Outline

Magnetic materials with an ordered structure, in which different kinds of atoms are regularly aligned in the crystal structure, provide spintronic devices with novel functionalities. This research project aims to realize an ultrahigh-sensitive spin torque oscillator utilizing the characteristics of ordered alloys with a Heusler structure and controlling the static and dynamic magnetic behavior of the magnetic vortices. The concept of this spin torque oscillator leads to the high-speed device operation and the large-scaled integrated system of spin torque oscillators. The final goal of this project is to construct the basic technologies for a magnetic field sensor using novel working principle.
