Outline

Hydrogen, renewable and eco-friendly clean energy, is expected to be one of best next-generation energy carrier candidates to improve not only Japanese but also world’s energy affairs. In this project, the water electrolysis by using electricity generated by renewable energy will be utilized to convert the electricity to hydrogen gas as energy carriers. The electrode in water electrolysis will be created without any precious metals and complicated fabrication process, and the aim is to achieve hydrogen society and popularization of hydrogen stations by employing cheap and high energy efficiency precious metal-free water electrolysis electrodes.
