The analysis of data repeatedly measured over time offers more information than that of data at a single time point, but sometimes it makes difficult to apply the traditional statistical methods. I treat such data as smooth functional data by smoothing the original data, and then construct regression models that express the relationship between time course growth environment, gene expression profiles and plant growth.
