Outline

In this project, I will develop a basis for managing whole plant microbiomes in field conditions. Although many bacterial and fungal species have been used for enhancing the growth of crop plants, they are often replaced by native microbes in the wild. My purpose, therefore, is to develop ecological and bioinformatic pipelines for finding competitively superior microbes that stabilize whole plant symbiobiome dynamics out of numerous potential symbionts in agricultural ecosystems.
